Dr. Cindy Sears

Dr. Cindy Sears is an invectious disease specialist, her laboratory focuses on the pathogenesis of colon disease by enteric bacteria using enterotoxigenic Bacteroides fragilis (ETBF) as a model for inducing colon inflammation. Dr. Sears is also involved with Moveable Feast, a Baltimore-based nonprofit with a mission to provide nutritious food at no cost to low-income individuals with life-threatening diseases, particularly HIV and cancer.
